flush mounting of cooktops

We do a lot of flush mount induction/cooktops, when we do quartz it is no problem, we just use a router with a finger bit and (http://maplered.com) follow a template, and (http://maplered.com) it works ,no chips tight fit , but when we do Granite (http://tanbrown.org) we are having no luck, it just chips like crazy.

I have experimented with a few methods but it is just not working, I know this can be done , does anybody have any tricks that they have tried and (http://maplered.com) know work.

Maybe the (I think it is Checketts chip free system) will work but keep in mind that I have to place a template on top of the Stone (http://g603.net) during the routing process , so the chip0 free system will make the template sit above the strips used in this system?
